A couple of scary bits revisited

Something new popping up to be aware of.  Sunbelt software security firm has found Google search has rigged stuff.  Just about any search term pulls up a huge number of rigged sites set to attack with gobs of malware.

Storm Worm released last January has new infect modes.  Forewarned is forearmed.

Now that it is up to online shopping time.  Happy hellidaze, etc.  It is particularly insidious that Email and search engines are actively being subverted to deliver malware attacks.  I highly suggest everybody take 5 minutes and read the two above mentioned ZD articles.  It could save you a lot of time later.

Note in the rigged Google results the form of search hit URL declared as malware attack sites.  That little bit in the subconscious may save you trouble later.  As well, an Ecard from an unknown directing you to an unfamiliar website is a good spooky item to have floating around in the subconscious.
